These terms cover your use of Gate Board (the service), provided by Building Integrity Group (we, us). By starting a trial or subscribing you agree to them. They are written in plain English on purpose.
A web-based system for site inductions, SWMS sign-on, site safety plans, registers and incident records. It is a record-keeping and workflow tool. It is not legal, safety or compliance advice, and it does not make you compliant with any law by itself.
You remain the employer, principal contractor or duty holder under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (Vic), the OHS Regulations 2017 (Vic) or the equivalent law where you work. You decide what SWMS to approve, who to clear at the gate and what goes in your safety plan. We provide the tool; the judgement is yours.
New accounts get a 14-day free trial with every feature. After that the service costs $99 a month + GST, billed monthly in advance by card through Stripe. There is no minimum term. You can cancel any time from the billing page and the service runs to the end of the period you have paid for. Prices may change with 30 days’ notice by email.
We will retry and email you. After 7 days the dashboard pauses until the card is fixed. Gate QR codes keep working during that week so nobody is stranded. Records are never deleted for a failed payment.
Everything you and your workers put into the service is yours. You can ask for a full export at any time and we will send it as PDFs and spreadsheets within 10 business days. If you close your account we keep the records for 90 days in case you need them, then delete them. See the privacy policy for how worker information is handled.
Use the service for your own construction sites and workers. Do not upload material you have no right to, do not try to access another builder’s account, and do not use the worker details for anything other than site safety.
We aim to keep the service up all the time and we host it on infrastructure built for that, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. If it is ever down at a gate, induct on paper and enter it later — a paper induction is still a valid induction.
To the extent the Australian Consumer Law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
You can stop any time by cancelling. We can suspend or end an account for non-payment or misuse after emailing you. Either way, clause 5 applies to your records.
We may update these terms; material changes are emailed 30 days ahead. The agreement is governed by the law of Victoria, Australia.
